Global air logistics park kaohsiung (khh) international airport kaohsiung taiwan

Project description

AIRIS planned the Global Air Logistics Park (the “GALP”) as a DFBOM development with a unique response to demands placed on shippers and manufacturers operating in Taiwan and serving the broader Southeast Asia and North American markets. GALP is designed to innovatively integrate several high-technology assembly facilities with state-of-the-art cargo facilities. This combination within a single, on-airport, economic processing zone greatly enhances Taiwan’s goal of integrating regional and international trade and logistics into a single, scalable solution introducing supply-chain reliability and efficiency. Manufacturers, freight forwarders, and service providers are provided added benefit values of convenience and increased security, with the elimination of double or triple handling of goods.

The project scope included 164,156 square meters (1,766,000 SF) of manufacturing/assembly, air cargo, and office facilities along with new taxiways serving an 84,000 square meters (903,800 SF) 12-position ADG Group VI aircraft apron.
