AIRIS acquired a group of specialized structures and renovated them as part of its Joint Venture with Luftfartsverket (Swedavia). Arlanda 1:1 is a multi-purpose facility complex that includes an 18,571 square meter (199,800 SF) cargo and cargo-related office facility that serves as the base for SAS Cargo hub operations at Stockholm Arlanda, a 12,104 square meter (133,200 SF) flight catering, an office facility, and a 58,642 square meter (2,800,000 SF) aircraft apron. The 30,675 square meter (330,060 SF) facility area serves a diversity of air cargo and flight provisioning activities for SAS’ main hub operations in Sweden.
ACT 1 is a new cargo and office development in the Cargo City South Area of ARN. The development features 28,000 square meters (301,200 SF) of multi-tenant space designed to the most modern throughput and environmental standards alongside a 50,000 square meter (538,000 SF) six position ADG Group V aircraft apron. Tenants include Federal Express, Sweden Post, UPS, JetPak, and others.
ACT 2 is Phase 2 of new cargo infrastructure in the Cargo City South Area of ARN. The project scope included the demolition of existing facilities, remediation of soils and ground water contamination, the construction of 21,000 square meters (225,900 SF) of new cargo space likewise designed to the most modern throughput and environmental standards for SAS Cargo, and the development of a 34,000 square meter (365,800 SF) apron sized to simultaneously stage four ADG Group V aircraft.
